I had a dream (Part 2)

He was bursting to tell his testimony - we were just about to say the closing prayer/ grace of our worship team retreat yesterday but he insisted he shared his testimony so we indulged him.

He goes on and tells us in an elongated narrative that he failed 6 driving tests and was sure he was going to fail his 7th test he just took but miraculosly he passed!!! I was stunned!! Not that he passed but at the coincidence.

I recalled the Word of exhortation just the night before from the sister at church and a connection seemed all too obvious!! We were praying last night and someone comes forward to say she was being forced to pick 6 but rather picked 7 (while sleeping/ dreaming during prayers) and then he now tells this testimony. Infact, the way he said it, I also agreed with him that he probably should have failed the test - but he passed!!

Strange/ coincidental but yet true- prayers work and things aren't necesarily as they seem!! Initially, it seemed to me that the lady just fell asleep but possibily there's a spiritual connotation to what happenned to her and this brother is a receipent of it!! How wonderful and enlightening!!

V Mobile

V mobile have got a great telephone service system set up - you call and it's courteous, friendly and straight to the point without much waiting time (at least from my experience).

Been with them like a week and it's taking way too long to port my number - it's been done but only half way. So I can receive calls on my old number but can make outgoing calls as the ported number hasn't been registered yet. This can only be done during weekdays and at an imprecise time!!

How frustating!! Only joined to port my mobile over on the same network but it's taking far too long to do even this!! The other thing is the numbers are way different - call up voicemail and instead of the 1-2-3 options to save-relisten-delete with other providers am familar with it's 4-7-9 or something like that. You even have the option to list to your message envelope!! What use is that!!!

I had a dream

Ok... was at church tonight for a prayer meeting. Got there late and they were already well into the meeting.

The pastor finished his exhortation and the time came to get into the nitty gritty of the meeting - prayer!! We prayed for this, then that, then some other thing..... on and on for around an hour. I actually participated and enjoyed the session - thank God I came!!

Then the pastor opens up the pulpit for anyone that has something to say - first a man comes forward, reads from 1 Kings and says God wants us to pursue, overtake and recover just like King David did. Alright no problem, message received - may the Lord help us to do this.

Then a sister comes forward, she says "As person X was praying earlier....." Now, am very attentive as I arrived late and was interested to know what had happened earlier. "I started to feel sleepy" Am thinking this can't be good, how can you be sleeping during prayers sister?? She continued "As I was feeling sleepy, I now began to dream" KAI!! Insult upon ingredients - not only sleeping but dreaming as well during prayers.

She now proceeds to tell us that she dreamt she was given the option of 2 numbers to pick in her dream - 6 & 7 and that after strong resistance she picked 7 instead of 6. The Lord would like us to know that He is perfecting everything that concerns us as 7 is the number of perfection. I couldn't agree more..
